What is a system integration?
An integration is the connection between two systems so they share information automatically, without anyone copying data by hand from one to the other. In practice it's an API: a channel your system uses to send or receive information with SUNAT, a bank, a payment gateway, or another piece of software you already use.
How do you integrate a system with SUNAT?
SUNAT exposes web services to issue electronic receipts, file SIRE declarations, and check the status of documents. Your system connects to those services, digitally signs each receipt, and stores SUNAT's responses as a record of every operation. We built and operate this inside Invoicing Data, issuing over 200,000 receipts a year.

How long does an integration take?
It depends on which service you're integrating with and how well documented its API is. A payment gateway integration tends to move quickly when the API is well documented; a full SUNAT integration, covering receipts and SIRE, takes longer because it means handling edge cases the official documentation doesn't explain. We give you a concrete timeframe once we've reviewed the system you want to integrate with.
